We offer a riverside apartment with ample off-road parking less than a mile from the centre of Keswick. This spacious accommodation also has a comfortable outdoor living area with gardens overlooking the river Greta.

The building itself is a converted 19thC hydro-electric plant, which may lack some exterior elegance but which has recently been internally renovated and furnished in an eclectic style, with modern conveniences complementing quirky but stylish historic furniture.

The space

he large open-plan living/kitchen/dining area has a 7-burner range, an American fridge freezer, a dishwasher and a wine fridge. The kitchen comes fully equipped, allowing guests to cater for every occasion: from simple meals to lavish dining with tureens and napkins!

Each room has been furnished in a somewhat quirky manner with Sanderson bedding and high quality towels. My aim has been to create very individualistic spaces for my guests to enjoy.

There is ample off road parking for three/four cars in the large wide driveway.

The spacious outside living space (where smoking is allowed) has a decked area with a dining table and chairs, a barbecue, lawns and a riverside patio to enjoy the beauty of the river Greta.

Guest access

Guests have exclusive use of this private ground floor apartment and gardens. In periods of warm weather I will come in to water the numerous pots and maintain the lawns.

I do like to greet my guests in person when possible and show them around the apartment. When this is not possible access can be via a key box situated by the front door.

Other things to note

We provide a welcome pack so you can have a cup of tea or coffee on arrival, and there is a Spar garage and convenience store approximately 500 yards from the apartment heading into Keswick. Booths high quality food hall, and the Co-op supermarket are a thirty-minute walk away, at the bottom end of the Town Centre. Furthermore, there are two launderettes in Keswick.

There are wonderful walks easily accessible from the apartment.
